Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Bangor, Maine and Quincy, Illinois -- This year Nautel Limited is entering its 40th year in business and has announced a five year warranty on the company’s NV and NX Series transmitters to kick off the celebrations. The extended warranty is being offered as a 40th Anniversary incentive for customers who purchase the transmitters during 2009.
The NV and NX series transmitters represent the culmination of four decades of development of solid state broadcast transmitter technology. Each line features a full range of available power outputs as well as integral HD Radio™ operating modes. Capping the NV Series is the NV40, offering the industry’s highest single cabinet solid state power output of any FM transmitter available with a maximum analog power output of 44 kW. In the NX Series, the 50 kW NX50 is representative of the next generation of AM transmitters, offering adaptive precorrection and 90% efficiency. Both transmitter lines feature Nautel’s Advanced User Interface (AUI) which provides real time instrument grade analysis, module-level monitoring, and remote web access to 100% of the local transmitter functionality.

The company operates three support centers located in Nova Scotia, Maine, and Illinois. All support centers are staffed by engineers with extensive RF transmission expertise.
